Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner (May 14th) so I wanted to share a few gift ideas that any mom will LOVE to have. Nordstrom always has the best selection of all the categories which makes gift buying so easy. I love this skin care line by Peter Thomas Roth. I began using this line a few weeks ago starting with the anti-aging eye creme and I'm already seeing diminishing fine lines in the crow's feet area. And, this kit is an amazing price for all that's included. How cute is this watch by Cruse? I've been obsessed with white marble with a hint of gold accents lately and this watch has both elements. It's the perfect nude watch that will complement any wardrobe from fancy to casual. It's definitely going on my wish list. The Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume is one of my FAVORITES. So feminine and dreamy with notes of cattleya orchids, sambac jasmine, freesia and rose petals that will seriously become an addicting scent that stays on ALL day without it being overpowering. The "I love you mom" mug is adorable and just the perfect gift by itself or to throw it in a basket with other gifts. The bracelet by Alex and Ani is perfect for the occasion. I have a couple of bracelets from this line and I love them. They don't rust or change color and are made of high quality materials that last for a long time. And, this bangle is a beautiful peony blossom that symbolizes the maternal qualities of healing, love and bravery which translates to "I love you, mom". I was given a sample of the YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil in Peach Me Love as a gift with purchase and I was obsessed, to say the least. It's very hydrating and moisturizing and lasts a long time. And, this set is an amazing deal. All the colors are very much wearable. And after the gloss wears off (the gloss lasts about 2 hours on me), you're left with this beautiful stain, so you don't have to reapply to get the color back. How classy are these turquoise/gold drop earrings? They come in all sorts of colors as well as this style. They're very lightweight and look great dressed up or down. And, this Fitbit Wireless wristband is perfect for the active moms in your life. We can be so sidetracked throughout our busy days that we forget to monitor our daily activities so this wristband helps to achieve the training, sleep and fitness goals. Along the healthy and fitness lines, I love love love this water bottle by S'well. There are so many colors to choose from and sizes ranging from 9 oz. to 25 oz. I'm very picky when it comes to water bottles for my family. I stay away from plastic and any plastic parts (plastic straws and valves) that most water bottles come with. I either get glass (love this one too) or stainless steel. And, I love the S'well brand because they give back by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle to UNICEF to help provide clean drinking water to children around the world. Where are my chef mamas at? I love cooking! My favorite part of cooking is creating and experimenting new and delicious meals. For the mamas that love to do the same, this cookbook by the lovely Chrissy Teigen is a must. This is also a book on my wishlist. Every recipe looks delicious and easy to make. I can't wait to put my hands on this book. And, last but not least, this gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS Rebecca Minkoff backpack (this color is currently 40% off). I need this in my life! Let's hope my husband is reading this post - HA! They also come in other colors. My second favorite is the sea mist color. The size and style is just so perfect for traveling and on-the-go mamas. Very pretty and functional.
