Staircase Makeover
From builder grade to a custom staircase. While we picked out the red oak treads and risers, sanded and stained, our contractors ripped out the carpet and prepared the canvas. After they installed the treads and risers, we had a local welder custom make the iron rail and balusters based on an inspiration photo I showed and he did an amazing job, exactly how I imagined. After an electrician installed the pendant lights (changed recessed lights to pendants), this portion of the house was finally complete. Well, maybe one or two large paintings above the stairs and then it’s 100 percent complete.
