How to Flatten Curling Rug Corners
I can’t believe I’ve been living with these rug corner curls for so long. I’ve been meaning to fix them for a while now. So, finally last week, I made time to put an end to these curls that makes us trip over every single day. I thought it would be a good idea to share them here with you all as well - it might come in handy if you have this problem too.
It’s very simple and you only need a couple of items really.
Supplies:
Vinyl Tile Floor (12 x 12) - click here to shop
X-acto knife or a sharp scissor
Glue gun
Instructions:
Start off by cutting the 12 x 12 tile in two diagonals to get four corners. You can only do one diagonal cut if you want a bigger triangle.
Peel the back sticker and apply the sticky side to the back of your rug. The top of the tile will be facing down on your floor.
For extra support, I used my glue gun to apply a few dots of glue to the corners.
I already had these items from my arts and crafts from years ago. And, I had previously used these vinyl tiles to make a backdrop for flat lay photography. So, if you already have a glue gun, you just need to get a piece of this tile which is less than $1 and it’s easy peasy.
I hope you found this quick DIY helpful!
