Dining Room Makeover

Next on the renovation list was the dining room. While it’s a small room and only needed minor updates like paint and change of light fixture, I think the transformation is still drastic. It just looks and feels like a different room. It’s the exact style I pictured for this space and it turned out amazing, simple, minimalist and modern.

My vision for the entire house was to modernize the interior but also keep it traditional and functional. With that in mind, I wanted the space to feel clutter-free and clean. No extra decor, no bulky items, and no heavy furniture.

The glass table was customized by a local glass fabricator and the metal base is from cb2. I wanted the x back metal chairs from pottery barn but they were out of stock for the longest time. So, I dug through the internet for something very similar and found these chairs on Amazon. I ordered the cushions from a restaurant wholesaler which I’m not very happy about because it’s somewhat of a lower quality. But, it’s serving the purpose for now and once I find a better quality I’ll replace them.

I love the faux fiddle leaf plan in the corner, the drapery dressing the beautiful bamboo roller shade and the Armenian prayer frames on the wall. And, of course, the gorgeous Loloi rug bringing the whole room together.

Let me know what you think of the transformation below.
