What I Got My Kids For Easter 2020

Happy April 1st! Easter is right around the corner, on April 12th, and although Easter will be a very different celebration this year without the family gatherings and the church service, we still have to keep our spirits up and contain some normalcy.

I have loved Easter ever since I was little — I have fond memories of my mom gifting us a new set of Easter outfits with matching hats and shoes every year for me and my sisters to wear on Easter Sunday. Add the coloring of eggs with all natural foods my mom would collect weeks before, the church service on Easter morning, seeing friends and relatives and exchanging Easter egg fights, and eating a little too much of all those broken hard boiled eggs for the remainder of that week, are just some of my childhood memories. And, just as any other family tradition, you want to instill the same ideas and values from your upbringing into your own children. So, I went ahead and curated some gifts for my kids and I’m so lucky that most of the things (except for one item) will be delivered before Easter. These are some things that they actually need, like the bath robes, and some things, like the perfume and cologne, are to replace mom’s and dad’s expensive products. HAHA. I just placed the orders for all these items yesterday. With that said, if you happen to see something to include in your child’s Easter basket, be sure to order now because the delivery dates are cutting it close. I’m most excited for their matching 100% organic Turkish cotton bathrobes. How cute!!!

I try to stay far away from plastic toys and artificial chocolates and candies as much as I can. So, these items will probably be going into woven baskets I already have from last year, with some natural/paper grass, and will be tossing in snacks that they already eat and love like organic lollipops, popcorn, or Enjoy Life chocolates.
