Pumpkin Patch

This year we kept it low key at the pumpkin patch and decided to go with a smaller local farm instead of our annual farm location at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, CA. We couldn’t make it to the patch until the weekend before Halloween. And, of course, anywhere well known and popular was going to be busy. We wanted to avoid crowds and long lines and thus chose a smaller farm closer to our home instead of the famous Underwood. The kids (and the adults) had so much fun. It was smaller and cozier, not a ton to do but just enough for the kids to have a great time and not get overwhelmed. There was a huge corn maze, pony ride, a small petting zoo, a bouncy house, haystack, a couple of food stands and tons of pumpkins. I found it online and reviewers were raving about their corn maze. So, we decided to check it out ourselves. It turned out to be so much fun; we did the maze right when we arrived. It took us about an hour to complete it then we walked over to the patch where the kids did all the activities and ran around. We all had a great time.
